And Cleo certainly has the regal gaze to match. She has a way of looking deeply into your eyes as though she's trying to decide whether you're worthy of her trust.

Life hasn't always treated this little queen kindly. Cleo survived on the streets, fighting for food and territory, and her fear of people suggests that humans may not always have been gentle with her. She arrived underweight, cautious, but clearly wanting to trust.

With her foster, Cleo is slowly discovering that hands can bring love instead of fear. She may take one little step backward when you approach...and then, ever so bravely, lean forward for pets. Those tiny moments of trust are huge victories for her.
