Dottie (must adopt with Mittens) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in New Bedford, Massachusetts

Dottie (3 years old) and her son Mittens are a special pair looking for a quiet home together with no children and no other pets. Dottie is an incredibly kind, loving, and affectionate girl who absolutely adores her people. She loves being around her humans, will happily follow you from room to room, and loves to chat with you throughout the day. She's a devoted mama who adores Mittens and is always looking out for him. While she doesn't like other cats, she is happiest when she has her people—and her boy—by her side.

Five-month-old Mittens is a handsome gray polydactyl boy with extra toes on his big paws—perfect for grabbing toys! He loves to play and will chase just about anything. He's skittish and will need some time to warm up to new people, but Dottie helps him feel safe and shows him how to be brave. Together, they're each other's safe place and are looking for a patient, quiet family who will give Mittens the time he needs to come out of his shell while enjoying all the affection Dottie has to give.

If your application is selected and approved, you will be contacted and put in touch with their foster family for a meet and greet.

If you submit an application and do not hear back, don't worry! Your application will still be kept on file in case and can be used for other cats that become adoptable.

The adoption fee is $550 for both cats and includes the following: spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip, FeLV & FIV testing, deflea and vet examination.
