He enjoys both wet and dry food and is definitely food-motivated! Jax is one of the cats rescued from the heartbreaking situation in Erin, Tennessee, where cats were being shot with darts. He was rescued along with Xena and several others after one cat was found dead and Xena was discovered severely injured. Jax is now safe and learning what it means to be loved. He’s still building his confidence and does best with a calm environment and a gentle approach. Sudden movements can startle him, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality shines. He may not be a lap cat quite yet, but we believe that with patience and love, he’ll become a devoted companion. Jax survived something no animal should ever have to experience. Now he needs a hero.
