Artemis, two sisters, and his mom survived the ice storm of 2026 with the help of caring humans from his neighborhood.

They sought shelter in a storm drain along with shelter and food from families in the area. On July 4, 2026, Artemis was separated from his mother and sisters due to fireworks in the area.

He has been staying with a foster family since then (don't worry, they have returned!).
