To help Poseidon settle into his new space, we recommend starting her off in a smaller safe room so she can adjust gradually and feel safe. Reading the Rule of Three document included with the adoption resources will help you help Poseidon settle in.

Posie will thrive in a patient calm and quiet home where she will be given the time to settle in. A one or two person adult only home would be ideal for Posie.

Posie will be shy and likely not very confident/engaging when you come meet her at the adoption center but once she is settled in her forever home she opens up and shows you what a great companion she is. We have seen this in both the foster homes she has been in.

Poseidon is currently over her optimal weight and is on a reduced calorie diet to help her lose a few pounds. Information about her current food with brand information will be provided to her new adopter although other weight-loss food options of similar caloric content would also be suitable in assisting her in shedding her excess weight.
Poseidon recently had a comprehensive dental procedure done including several extractions and cleaning/polishing were done. She has good oral health currently. A home oral hygiene regimen such as daily tooth brushing, oral gel, water additive or dental care products to reduce bacteria and plaque buildup is recommended. Your vet can advise on the best products to help with dental care
