Hello, I'm Lucy Hathaway. I'm brand new to the shelter! I was found as a stray kitten by a nice lady who fell in love with me, but sadly couldn't keep me because she already had a dog, and I wasn't very fond of him. She got me all up to date on my shots, got me spayed, loved on me, and took me to the shelter, where she knew I would be well cared for until my forever person comes along. I am shy, but sweet. Once I get to know you and trust you, I'm quite affectionate and loving. I do like to have somewhere safe and quiet to retreat to during times of overwhelm. On a relaxed day, there's nothing I love more than to cuddle up in a warm patch of sunshine somewhere by a window, where I can look out at the birds and squirrels.
