Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Muskegon, Michigan

DANA was found a stray. This tiny, unusually marked buff/cream colored kitty came in with some injuries but is doing fine now. Her blue eyes are so sad though. She has obviously had a hard time of it and is working through whatever traumas she may have endured. At the moment she is wary of her surroundings, but we are working on the trust issues, and she is slowly making progress.

This pretty kitty is unsure of anything right now. She is trying to relax, but in a hectic shelter, this may be a challenge for her. We do not know how she will feel about dogs, cats, or children. She tries not to engage with the other cats. But DANA isn't hiding anymore and will swat any cat away, if she feels crowded. With her nervous nature, DANA may need a quiet home where she can decompress and feel safe, without chaos!

Just looking at DANA makes your heart cry, but she is slowly coming around to being a bit more social. She will allow slow pets but does not often come up for them. Surely there is someone out there who has the time and compassion to give DANA a chance she apparently hasn't had before. Come visit DANA during adoption hours and see if you and she can make a connection.
