Push-Up - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee

Good evening! We are THE DAISY BABIES, coming in with our favorite "daisy" sayings, like "Daisy Chain", "Pushing Up Daisies", and "Whoopsie-Daisy"!

PUSH-UP: What does "pushing up daisies" mean, anyway? I guess I should understand what my name means, right?

WHOOPSIE: Well...I think it is a slang saying for being dead and buried.

PUSH-UP: WHATTTTTT??? TELL ME YOU'RE JOKING! So you two get cool names, and I get the one that means I'm dead?

CHAIN: Yeah, that's right...but it's cool, the name sounds like you have street cred, like a cool nickname.

PUSH-UP: I'm not from the streets...I mean, our mom and dad were, but we were born pretty much with anything we could want for...in a nice house....not on the street. I'm a fraud, and not cool at all! I'm afraid of spiders....aaarrggghhhh! And I'm very picky about the consistency of my food....and also...

WHOOPSIE: (interrupting) Okay, Push-Up, you don't have to admit all your foibles, we're here to get adopted, remember? You're just a cute kitten who needs a home, okay? (under her breath) - you're coming across as spoiled!

PUSH-UP: Well, wouldn't something that is "dead" be "spoiled"?! Thanks for building me up, Whoopsie, I feel SO much better now (rolling eyes dramatically)!

CHAIN: Stop it, you too...we are all spoiled, and we are all lucky our mama was rescued! Now let's tell these good people where we will be this weekend, so that they can bring in other kittens who aren't so spoiled to take our place, okay? (other two remain silent) Good, now I'll take over from here.

We're back, and would like to extend a warm welcome to come and meet us at this weekend's ADOPTION EVENT, taking place at PetSmart in Mt. Juliet from 11-3, this Saturday, Aug. 22nd. There will be dozens of kittens like us needing homes, and we are sure to not disappoint. We'll do our best to not act too needy or too spoiled...just somewhere in between, where we might catch your eyes, and your hearts. We are gingers, too, so we are known for our big hearts and gentle natures...that's just good DNA right there! Come on out, you'll love us!
