Meet Oren

Every litter seems to have that one sibling—the fearless explorer, the wrestling champion, the self-appointed protector. For this family, that's Oren.

Oren and his three sisters were born to a feral mama who was lovingly cared for by a homeowner. After a devastating house fire destroyed the only home they knew, tragedy struck again when their mama was hit by a car. We were able to safely trap the kittens after the fire, giving them the second chance every kitten deserves.

Now about 31⁄2 months old, Oren is embracing the good life—and he does it with enthusiasm!

As the only boy and the biggest of the litter, Oren is your classic rough-and-tumble little brother. He lives for wrestling matches with his sisters, chasing toys, and finding new ways to entertain himself (and everyone else). He's a happy-go-lucky, no-drama, no-nonsense kind of guy who always seems to be in the middle of the fun.

One of Oren's most adorable features is the large white patch on his chest. It looks just like a superhero's shield, which feels fitting for the big brother of the bunch. Whether he's keeping an eye on his sisters or leading the next round of kitten zoomies, he wears it proudly.

Oren has come such a long way since arriving at Randall's Rescue. He's learning that people are pretty wonderful, has started greeting us with sweet little head bumps, and is becoming more comfortable being picked up every day. Watching his confidence blossom has been incredibly rewarding, and we have a feeling this handsome boy is well on his way to becoming someone's giant cuddle bug.
