Junior - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mount Carmel, Illinois

Junior came in with his siblings Jasmine, Jethro, and Jimmie. They're all combo negative and vaccinated with Distemper. One of our volunteers had been feeding their semi-feral mom in her backyard. When the kittens were around 5 weeks old she was able to trap them. She set up Junior and Jasmine in a rolling cage, and Jethro and Jimmie were set up in a second rolling cage at her home for several weeks before being brought into the shelter where they're all hanging out together in one space. They're around 3 months old and doing great. They were nervous to start, but now they're happy and well adjusted kittens who will come running to the door when they see you. They love to play, and they get along with other kittens. Junior is a very playful and smart boy. He loves to find a high place to sit and keep an eye on everything. He's very polite and always shares his food bowl with no pushing. This friendly boy is ready to grow up with a family of his own.
