Hi, I’m Scout, and I’m a black tabby girl born 03/15/2026. I'm a sassy pint-sized cuddle-muffin with a big attitude and an even bigger heart. I’m looking for a forever home with laps to sleep in, places to explore, and plenty of new friends!

People love to comment about how cute and sweet I am, and I can’t say I disagree! I was born to be a housecat. I did get a little sidetracked at first, and I ended up lost and alone and stuck in a tree in the middle of nowhere, but I’m back on track and ready for adoption! I’ve been practicing cuddling and purring, playing, and finding the ideal spots to nap. I’m especially good at the first two, and my purr is REALLY loud.

My favorite way to greet a new person is to yell at them until they sit down so I can jump in their lap. If I like you, I’ll let you hold me and pet me and scritch my belly for basically forever... or at least until I get hungry or I see a really cool toy. But no matter what happens, I promise I’ll always come back for more cuddling! And don’t worry about getting distracted or forgetting to hang out with me- I'll meow to remind you. My voice still has some growing to do, and some people say I sound like a rusty gate hinge, but I’ve learned how use it to shout loud and proud. Some people might say I’m bossy, but I think I have excellent communication skills.

When I’m not eating or sleeping, you can find me playing with my toys or watching birds and squirrels through the window. If you have a cat tree, that’s probably where I’ll be! I love my cat tree. I can race up and down it, I can sit on the shelf and watch the birds, or I can hide in the cubby hole for a quiet nap to recharge for my next round of zoomies. It even comes in handy when things get too loud and crazy, since sometimes I’d rather just sit somewhere high up and watch from a safe distance.

I’m looking for a home with people who love to play with their pets and give them lots of attention, and have I mentioned that I like cuddling? Anyway, I’ve never met a human I didn’t like. I LOVE kids and other cats, and I don’t mind having dogs around. I like windows a lot, especially in the morning when the sun is shining in, or when there are squirrels and birds to watch. I’m not picky about my food, treats, or litter boxes. If your love language is cuddles and you’re looking for a confident little princess, I'm your gal!
