At just 2 years old, this beautiful girl has already been through more than any cat should, but she still greets the world with curiosity, affection, and a hopeful little spark. Jerusalem's story is heartbreaking. The person who had been feeding her as a stray said she was mean, but the truth is that she simply had not been treated with the gentleness she needed. Other than being fed, she was not shown much kindness, so it is no surprise that she can be cautious when meeting someone new. In her foster home, she lived with two other cats, and at the shelter she has become a volunteer favorite because she craves attention, playtime, and connection.
