Cerulean - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mokena, Illinois

Cerulean, a 4-year-old flame point, is more than just looks. This gorgeous guy is the full package. He is oh so affectionate to people and he loves other cats. He has so much personality and will chat your ear off, but he is so sweet that you will hang on to every word he says. Cerulean was brought to NAWS from another rescue in the hopes that he will find the people who will treat him well and love him for who he is and not just what he looks like.

Cerulean is FIV+, which means he will need an adopter who will be diligent in his care and make his health a top priority. It is easy to be drawn in by his beautiful looks and wonderful personality, but he also deserves someone who is going to give him the best life and make a commitment to support him no matter what. While cats with FIV can live normal lives like all other cats, we want his adopters to do their best to make sure Cerulean has the best chance of living a long and healthy life by keeping him indoors and ensuring he is always up-to-date on vet visits. We would expect this of any adopter, but this truly lovely boy needs someone who will look out for him always because he deserves nothing short of an amazing life with amazing people.

Cerulean would need to be adopted as an only cat or live with other FIV+ or nonaggressive cats. If you would like to know more about FIV, please ask one of our volunteers or volunteer counselors.
