Hello my name is Poppy, I'm from Minnesota!

Poppy has been very shy and timid, but she is very sweet. She seems to get spooked easily but has been receptive to cuddling with my 7 year old and even purring while she's held like a baby by my daughter. She has a very soft and gentle sounding meow that almost sounds more like a chirp or a squeak and I think she'd do best in a home with someone who's receptive to her gentler nature.

But I will say as she's warming up, she's felt more comfortable exploring and there could be a whole different side to her personality that we haven't seen. She has just come out of hiding and we need more time to assess. She's still in a phase where she freezes when you run into her quietly running about, she's like a ninja you barely hear her. Her body language says she needs patience, in my opinion.
