Meet Garfield!
Garfield was found roaming the streets and was brought in last October. He continues to adjust to inside living and trusting people. He actually loves his indoor life and loves to play with toys; especially Pom Pom balls. He also has a particular cat post he loves which will go with him when he is adopted.

Garfield is a talker and will let you know when he is hungry and when he wants to be petted. He has an independent personality, but is as sweet as can be. He likes to approach you, but gets a little nervous when he is approached unexpectingly , unless of course food or a churu is involved! He has a loud purr and loves to knead on you at his will. He is very affectionate and wants to be close and I think with patience and time he will be the cat who is always near his person.

Garfield would do best in a quiet home with no small children where he can continue to blossom as an indoor cat and be the center of attention that he deserves. He is a very sweet boy and loves to chat up a conversation with his adorable voice. He currently lives with rambunctious dogs and another cat and does fine, but we feel he would come out of his shell more if it were more calm.

Garfield is estimated to be around 3 - 4 years old and is litter-boxed trained including the use of the litter robot. He is currently being fostered in Middleton, but adoption transports to Mineral Point are available as needed. He is litter trained and vetted. He would do well in a home with cats or calm dogs. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $80 which includes their spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormer and flea/tick preventative.
