When a shelter calls, we answer...and Tailgate is living proof of what a second chance can look like! This adorable boy came to Karma Cat from a shelter with an injured tail and needed a safe place to heal. With the help of our incredible medical team, an amazing foster family, and the continued support of our donors, Tailgate received the surgery and care he needed. His injured tail was amputated, and now this little guy is fully recovered and ready for the next chapter!

These days, Tailgate isn't looking back. He's too busy pouncing, playing, and enjoying life with his foster kitty brother! He's an energetic, happy kitten who loves having a feline friend to chase, wrestle, and hang out with, so a furry companion is a must in his forever home. Tailgate has already overcome so much; now he's ready for a summer filled with sunshine, playtime, and the forever family he's been waiting for.

Taigate is FIV/FeLV negative, up to date with vaccinations, flea treated, microchipped, dewormed, and neutered. His birthday is estimated to be around 5/6/2026
