Father Mckenzie is a very shy kitten who is still getting comfortable in his surroundings. Since moving into a room here at the shelter, he has preferred to stay tucked away and has been taking his time adjusting. He isn't reactive-he simply needs patience, quiet encouragement, and the opportunity to build confidence at his own pace.

Father Mckenzie may need more time than some kittens to feel safe and connect with his people. He is food motivated and enjoys wand toys, which can be wonderful tools for building trust as he settles in.

He would benefit from going home with another cat and would do best with adopters who have experience with shy or fearful kittens. In his new home, he should start out in a smaller, quiet room where he can slowly acclimate before being given access to the rest of the house.

Father Mckenzie may take some time to come out of his shell, but with patience, understanding, and gentle interactions, he has the opportunity to blossom into a loving companion.
