Tilly - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Michigan City, Indiana

At the end of July, someone found Tilly in their yard. She barely weighed a quarter of a pound and was not in good health. Our amazing team of fosters stepped up and literally nursed her back to health.

We encountered obstacles getting her to eat and gain weight. She had the fight to live and sure enough started to thrive after several weeks of stress-all of us wondering whether she would pull through or not.

Thanks to our dedicated foster families and vet team, Tilly grew stronger every day and is now available for adoption.

Here is a note from her foster family:

"Tilly is a very sweet kitten! She loves to play with toys and climb up on you to go to sleep. She wants nothing more than to be your friend and hang out with you. She likes to play a lot with toys, other pets, people or your nose. She gives the gentlest love bites and always wants to be in the same room as you.

Tilly has done very well with other cats and cat-friendly dogs. She would prefer to be in a home with another cat or dog friend to play with!" -Tilly's foster family.

Tilly is back at MHS and is available for adoption. She is about two months old and is spayed
