Meet Zara: Retired Mama. VERY retired.

Zara did her maternal duty: she kept her kittens fed, clean, and alive. But now that they're 8 weeks old, she's apparently checked the calendar and announced that her services are no longer available.

Nursing? Absolutely not. Mothering? Her people will get back to you. Personal space? Non-negotiable.

Zara is still a young girl herself, probably under a year old, and she's ready to put motherhood behind her and finally get to be somebody's baby. She can be a little scared when people first approach, but once the petting begins, she purrs and happily demands as much attention as you're willing to provide. She may even knock over one of her own kittens to keep a good petting session going. Priorities.

She's not a lap cat, at least not yet, and she'll need an experienced, patient adopter who can help her continue building confidence and learning that she's safe. Zara has already come such a long way in foster care, and underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet, beautiful girl who is ready for her next chapter.
