My name is Brisket and I'm a sweet girl, only about two years old. I lost my previous home because cats weren't allowed where I lived and the landlord found out. I'll admit that I took a while to adjust to my foster home at first, but my foster mom says I've responded very well to proactive interaction. Once I figured out my foster mom was nice to me, I became VERY friendly. I purr a lot and like to sleep in her lap and as close as possible to her. I am extremely playful! I have a history of doing well with other cats, so I would probably do well in a home with another feline playmate. Some of the other cats that I was surrendered with are in different foster homes, so perhaps I could be adopted with one of them. I would do best in an adoptive home as where I get lots of playtime and attention. I am extremely playful and an early riser, so I would be best adopted by someone who is also an early riser or who is a very sound sleeper and therefore won't be disturbed by my playful early-morning activities. I would not do well left unaccompanied for long hours. I would be perfectly fine adopted by a first-time adopter sufficiently patient to allow me enough time to figure things out. I very sweet cat and I promise to love whoever adopts me for the rest of my life.
My adoption fee has been reduced by more than a third to only $145 to get me adopted as soon as possible because my foster mom is a university student who has to go out of town soon. I'm a spayed female, my shots are up to date, and I have tested negative for FIV and FeLV. I'm being fostered in Boston.
