Little Amara did NOT have a great start on life. When she came to us she was very tiny and her left eye had bulged out of her eye socket with ulcerations and infection. Despite what had to have been horrific pain and suffering, she purred and loved to eat and drink and even play.
She has seen specialists and the eye has begun to heal incredibly. She continues antiviral and antibiotic eye drops and oral antibiotic to keep the herpes virus and any secondary infections at bay.
She is thriving, she loves to run and play with toys and loves to eat her moist food. She has been around adult fully vaccinated cats and loves to play, she has no idea she is just a tiny baby.
Amara means eternal grace and endurance, definitely her.
She is not yet available as she continues to be monitored by the eye specialists and has not been vaccinated at this time, we have been advised to wait until her follow up appointment.
She is super loving and very affectionate also.
