Linus “Bug” and Lucy “Goose” are a loving, playful bonded pair who are ready to become the center of someone’s world. These sweet kittens have so much joy to give, and they deserve a patient, devoted home that will love them exactly as they are—together.
Because Linus and Lucy have cerebellar hypoplasia, they have a few special care needs. Their perfect adopter will be someone who understands that a little extra support simply means extra bonding time.
Their Care Needs
• Litter: They need pine pellets to help prevent falls into the litter or accidental ingestion. A nearby litter box and a consistent potty schedule work well for them, though occasional accidents may still happen. When there is a lot of noise or activity, they do best being taken to a quiet potty spot.
• Movement: They need daily practice with upright walking to help keep their muscles healthy and strong.
• Hydration: Linus and Lucy are still working on drinking water independently, so they are currently given water by syringe a few times a day and rewarded with treats afterward.
• Mealtime: They are fed from a dish while sitting on a lap, which helps them eat well and creates sweet one-on-one bonding time.
About Lucy (Female)
Lucy, 9 months old, is full of sass and loves to play with her large felt mat toy and her purple octopus. She is a chatty little girl with plenty to say throughout the day, and when she wants couch time, she will try her best to climb up and join you.
About Linus (Male)
Linus, 9 months old, likes to pretend he is independent, but deep down, he really wants you to come get him, carry him with you, or settle him beside you on the couch.
What They Love
Both kittens enjoy being outside. Lucy does her best assisted walking outdoors and may just run you out of energy. Linus can be a little more stubborn about practicing, but he does great on carpet when chasing his favorite worm toy.
