Gourami - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mason, Michigan

Gourami is an outgoing gorgeous senior cat who came to the shelter when someone in the home developed allergies to her. She settled in pretty quickly and we learned that she is quite spunky and knows exactly what she does and does not want out of life! We suspect that the only times she has been in a carrier were for vet trips and then to be dropped off here so currently they are not her idea of a good time. We recommend leaving it out and keeping treats in it or possibly feeding her in there to give her some better feelings about it. She's a social girl who enjoys attention and although she isn't much of a lap cat she does enjoy hanging out near her people as long as she knows that when she needs some time to herself her people will respect that!
