Washington is one of America's 8-week-old kittens, and this little orange tabby is ready to begin growing up in a home. He arrived with his mother and siblings on July 19th, and the whole family has been waiting for their next chapter.

Washington currently weighs 2.3125 pounds, with an estimated adult weight of about 9.25 pounds. He is up to date on vaccines and FIV/FeLV negative, and he will be neutered prior to adoption.

Washington does have an eye infection, but it is expected to improve soon. Even with this temporary issue, he deserves the opportunity to receive the care he needs while continuing to grow and thrive.

His mother, America, and siblings Tennessee, Virginia, and Nevada are also looking for homes. Whether Washington begins his new life with one of his family members or as a cherished individual companion, there is so much life ahead for this young kitten.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
