Haushinka - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Maple Shade, New Jersey

Haushinka is a girl with a peculiar name...

Haushinka also happens to be the newest member of Quirky Cat Club! This small 8 month old tabby girl is coming to us because she was in an overcrowded situation. The right people found her and took her in, but since they were already fostering some other, older, grumpier cats, it wasn't the best place for this girl to grow and adapt and get comfortable in.

So we got an email asking us for help, and would YOU be able to turn down that face? We couldn't either, so here she is!

Haushinka is a smart, curious kitty who sees and heats everything and is always on alert. Even when playing, she keeps her head on a swivel and jumps at the slightest noise. We are working on bringing that comfort level up, so we can convince her to let her guard down. Despite still being kinda Jumpy, she is a very sweet girl who wants to interact with humans and she does allow scratches and pets. When approached by a calm, patient, and loving person, she is open to being picked up, held, and handled on a more regular basis.

We have a few younger, playful, friendly kitties in our home that she is going to be able to interact with and get to know a little better, and we will be sharing all of her progress on our social media pages!
