Scooter - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Mansfield, Texas

Scooter

6 years old 12-15 pounds Orange & White Tabby Domestic Shorthair

Scooter has spent his entire life in one loving home with his mom, siblings, and feline family. When his beloved human mom passed away, his world changed overnight. While her family loves these seven cats dearly, they simply arent able to care for them all, so theyre hoping to find wonderful homes where these cherished companions can begin their next chapter.

If theres something new to see, climb, or investigate, chances are Scooter will be the first one there. Curious, playful, and full of personality, hes the kind of cat who brings life and laughter wherever he goes. Whether hes chasing toys, exploring every corner of the house, or finding the highest perch he can reach, Scooter approaches life with enthusiasm and a touch of mischief.

After hes finished his adventures, Scooter is more than happy to settle down for some affection. Once youve earned his trust, he loves being brushed and will happily climb into your lap to relax and recharge before his next expedition.

Scooter sometimes investigates interesting objects with his teeth—a habit thats more curious than troublesome. With gentle redirection and appropriate toys to satisfy his inquisitive nature, he does wonderfully.

Scooter is the son of Shadow, and because these cats have spent their entire lives together, the family would love to see him adopted with Shadow if possible. Keeping a familiar face by his side would help make this transition a little easier for both of them.

If youre looking for a cat who will make you smile every day, Scooter just might be your perfect companion.
