Ian (ID 53134) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Manassas, Virginia

female/spayed - 1-3 years - lost her owner

Ian (who is a girl) came to us under very sad circumstances. She was brought in by a young man carrying her in his arms and very sad. Miss Ian had lost her home very quickly and unexpectedly and she never got to say goodbye to her Dad. The young man who brought her was a close relative and they loved and trusted each other, but was not able to provide her a home. Once here, Miss Ian was sure everybody was her enemy and she was very afraid. We sent her to a foster home and she stayed under the bed for over a week. Finally with some soft touches and treats, she started to venture out. Now she is enjoying her time in foster and is VERY relieved. We are desperate to find a loving and patient home for this sweet girl who will give her a little bit of time to adjust.

Ian is currently in a foster home. If you'd like more information or to schedule a visit, please contact ntarr@pwcgov.org
