Mama Macedonia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

Mama Macedonia is a sweet and mellow little lady who likes to follow you like a shadow, but is also happy to take a snooze on the couch or in a nice box. She was rescued at a construction site where she’d found her way into a trailer and sat herself down on a worker’s lap - she really wanted to be an indoor cat!

Macie likes to look around and explore new surroundings, but once she knows the lay of the land, she’s a low-energy cuddler who will rub up against your legs or headbutt your hand when she’d like some pets or head scratches. Most of the time she doesn’t really get the appeal of those silly colorful toys the humans try to wave at her, though she’ll occasionally chase a crinkly catnip toy or use a flat scratcher. Sometimes she’ll hop up on a counter to have a look around, but this is pretty rare and she has yet to knock anything over.

Macie is trusting and friendly to new humans, and she’ll eat better when you’re in the room. Breakfast tastes better if she’s had her morning head scritches first! She would be an easy cat for anyone looking for a chill cuddler!

This cat would prefer to be adopted alone and be the only cat in the home.
