Meet Sam, the charming little black cat with a heart full of potential and a personality that will steal yours!

Sam’s journey hasn’t been the easiest—she spent much of her life as an outdoor cat before we took her in during Hurricane Milton, but since then, she’s blossomed into a loving and special companion.

Though Sam’s past may have left her a little cautious, she’s incredibly sweet once she feels safe and comfortable. She may take her time warming up, but once she trusts you, she’ll show you her gentle side. She enjoys head scratches (on her own terms, of course) and has a special fondness for sunny window seats where she can lounge and watch the world go by.

Sam has a uniquely cute look—she’s missing most of her teeth due to past dental issues, but her adorable little vampire fangs and one remaining molar only add to her charm! She’s in great health, fully vaccinated, and FIV/FeLV negative, so she’s ready to settle into a loving home.

Sam gets along well with other cats (she’s been living peacefully with our two goofy orange boys) but may be a little apprehensive around dogs, so a dog-free or calm-dog home would be best for her. She’s still learning to trust, but she’s made so much progress and will continue to thrive in a quiet, patient environment.
