Lucy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption

Lucy had a very uncertain start to life. She was born to a feral mama who was living in a homeowner's garage. Mama had to head out each day to hunt for food for Lucy and her siblings until they were finally rescued.

She had little to no human interaction during those important first weeks of life so understandably, Lucy was the most frightened of her litter when they were rescued.

Everything about people and the world around her was new and scary. But with lots of patience, love, and encouragement from her foster mom, Lucy has come around quite a bit!

She may still be shy and cautious, but she has shown us that there is a sweet little girl underneath that nervous exterior.

Lucy will need a patient home that understands she may take some time to fully come out of her shell. We think she will continue to blossom with time, especially when she has the comfort and confidence of other cats around her.

Lucy needs to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat, and she would be especially happy to go home with one of her siblings Leo, Luca, or Charlotte! Having a feline friend by her side will help her feel safe and give her the companionship she needs.
Lucy has already come so far. We can't wait to see just how much more this sweet little girl blossoms in the right home!
