Ed is a fun loving boy. He and most of his litter were born as bob-tails or manx kitties. This means he was born with a little, to no tail. There was no injury, he was just born this way. Although all his siblings are happy, healthy, and in loving homes, Ed has not yet found the home for him.
Because of his special needs, he has troubles with his bowels. Sometimes his feces can be very loose. We are currently trying different foods to see if we can help with this. He has been to the vet numerous times and all medical interventions have been exhuased at this time.
But in addition to the consistancy of his feces, he has troubles controling his ability to use a litter box. He is unable to control the use of his sphincter, and often is unable to make it to the litter box before both deficating and urinating. Because of this, he often needs a bath to help keep him clean.
Although Ed does need a home that will understand his special needs, he is a very funloving baby that wants to have fun and learn. He likes to play with strings. He is very affectionate, and he will sit in your lap and watch television. He gets along with other cats and dogs. He really likes to find little nooks, like empty boxes and take naps.
