Shuri is a stunner, with a gorgeous, almost entirely black coat and the cutest little patch of white on her chest. But it’s her gentle personality and the special bond she forms with her favorite people that make her so lovable.

Shuri is a sensitive sweetheart who needs a little patience when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar surroundings. She may not be the first kitty to run up and greet you, but give her time, kindness, and a little space to feel safe, and you will discover an incredibly loving companion. Once she trusts you, she loves to curl up beside you on the couch, share sweet little kisses, and simply be close.

Shuri’s story began when she was just 6 weeks old, found all alone outside a Mexican restaurant. Her foster family has loved her ever since, and after more than two years together, saying goodbye is bittersweet.
