Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue
Meow meet Ray Ray! He is a handsome adult tuxedo boy with a gentle soul and a story that deserves a happy next chapter. He and his son, Henray, started out as part of an outdoor colony, but it quickly became clear these two were affectionate and deserved the chance to know the comfort of a home. In foster care, Ray Ray showed his true personality. Though reserved, he was friendly, affectionate, and sweet - a quiet boy who enjoyed feeling safe and cared for. He enjoyed stretching out in sunny spots and gentle pets especially on his back down to his tail. But now that he and Henray are new to the rescue, their world has changed again. They are confused and overwhelmed, and understandably, they have become guarded and skittish. The friendly, loving boys their foster family knew are still there; right now they’re just trying to figure out why everything familiar has changed again. Ray Ray is quiet and reserved, and he isn’t going to rush into a new relationship. He needs a patient, peaceful home where someone will give him the time and space to settle in, without expecting too much too soon. He and Henray have each other, and that familiar bond will be an important source of comfort as they find their footing. Ray Ray has already shown that he knows how to love. He just needs someone willing to give him the time to feel safe enough to show it again. With patience, a quiet home, and time both Ray Ray and Henray will learn to trust again, relax, accept those gentle pets and discover that they are safe and loved.Meet the #CatsOfGettysburg - Apply to adopt at bit.ly/AdoptFLR and we will help you find the purr-fect kitty for your family!

Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many that are not posted yet.
Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.
No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so). We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.
