Chester is estimated to be 2 years old and is one of those cats who just wants to be loved. He's sweet, affectionate, and ready to find a family that will see him for who he is, not just his diagnosis.

Chester is FIV positive, but don't let that scare you away. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives with routine veterinary care, good nutrition, and a safe indoor home. FIV is not easily spread through casual contact like sharing food bowls, grooming each other, or cuddling. It is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, which means many FIV-positive cats successfully live alongside other friendly, non-aggressive cats.

Unfortunately, FIV-positive cats are often overlooked in shelters simply because of misconceptions. Chester deserves the same chance at a loving forever home as any other cat.
