Meet Poplar!

Poplar is a beautiful little girl with a gentle heart who's looking for a patient family willing to let her blossom at her own pace. She can be very shy in new environments and with new people, so she'll need a calm, quiet home where she feels safe while she builds her confidence. Although she's still learning that people can be trusted, she's making progress every day.

A confident, friendly feline companion would be a huge help in showing Poplar that the world isn't such a scary place. She enjoys the company of other cats and would do best with a kitty friend in her new home. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she may also adjust well to a calm, cat-friendly dog. Because loud, busy households can be overwhelming, Poplar is looking for an adults-only home or one with respectful teenagers. If you have a little patience and a lot of love to give, you'll have the privilege of watching this sweet girl come out of her shell and become a wonderful companion.

Poplar will be ready to go home after 7/16.

This cat has been spayed/neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated, combo tested negative for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, and is microchipped.
