Rocky - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Leesburg, Virginia

Rocky is a spunky kitten who started life on the bubble. He was born to a mama barn cat and when he was just a few weeks old he swallowed a foam earplug that totally blocked his digestive tract. He was taken to a nearby vet to be euthanized, but they thought he could be saved. They called us and we took Rocky in as a critical care foster kitten, and with the help of our vet partners and a couple of skilled medical fosters, tiny Rocky made a full recovery, and he's as happy and playful as can be!

He gets along well with the other cats in his foster home, and even though he's still half their size, he plays like he's a big boy. He plays with everything and everyone, even riding on the back of his 3-year old cat buddy or running on his hind legs while his front paws are wrapped around his buddy's neck. He is super friendly, and he is just as comfortable sitting on your lap, riding on your shoulder as you walk around, or lying in bed next to you. He'll be a great addition to any family looking for a sweet and friendly kitten companion.

As Rocky is such an active kitten, having a feline buddy in his new home would be best for him.
