Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in League City, Texas

Sweet senior Oreo had a rough start in life back in 2014 when she was thrown from a car as a young kitten. Thank goodness a kind person scooped her up and she came into the safe haven of SCP foster care for a short time before being adopted. Fast forward to 2026 and sadly Oreo is losing her adoptive home through no fault of her own so she’s now looking for a new forever castle to spend her golden years in. She is a quiet and gentle big girl that deserves to be part of a loving family again - maybe that could be yours?

The cat adoption fee is $120 (or $190 for two cats). Second Chance Pets is a foster-based organization so all animals live in foster homes throughout the area. All cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV and feline leukemia, fully vaccinated, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clear Lake Petco (2410 Bay Area Blvd, Houston 77058).
