Hi there! We're Muffin & Toasty!
We are the absolute PURR-fect little kitties! You pick us up, we purr. You scratch our necks, we purr. You feed us, we purr. We cuddle with you at bedtime, we purr. What can we say, we love to purrrrr!
Muffin is the most intrepid and independent of the two of us, she's always the first to explore and check things out. Toasty is the observer and will sit back and wait for Muffin to check things out and confirm they are safe before she joins in. Sometimes Muffin wanders a little far away and Toasty cries until she comes back. Toasty doesn't like being left alone.
We do everything together! When we eat, we often try to eat out of the same bowl and must be separated. When one of us is in the litter box, the other often jumps in to make sure everything is going okay. We play our little hearts out, chasing and wrestling each other. We love to chase each other through the cat tunnel. We love a good feather wand. We will do anything to wrestle with a feather - we love them! When it's time to settle down, you can find us giving each other a bath before we relax into our cuddle puddle and take a nap. Our foster mom works all day, and we do a great job at keeping each other company until she gets home. We love to be together and would do so much better if we were adopted together.
Our foster family has older dogs, so we will be fine around calm dogs who are respectful to cats. We're curious about other kitties, but the adult cat at our foster home doesn't like other cats too much. We haven't been around little kids, but teenagers and adults are just fine. Little kids might be overwhelming for us and we might scratch them. We like to get the claws out if our boundaries aren't respected. We're all for a good cuddle or neck scratch, but when it's time to get down, we want down. Otherwise, we are very gentle with our claws, and our foster mom loves that about us. We even let her pet our paws.
We are litter box champions and do very well with keeping things in the box. We are learning boundaries and what "NO!" means and we aren't very fond of the squirt bottle when we do something we shouldn't. We come when we're called, especially when it's time for our wet food! We do very well with scratching posts and scratch boxes. We are such good little girls, with the sweetest personalities and the cutest kitty faces. We really are the PURR-fect baby cats. We are looking forward to you taking us home and beginning our lives together. Do you have enough love in your heart and your home for the both of us?
