Sammie - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lakewood, Colorado

Meet Sammie! Sammie has been on a long outdoor journey and is ready to settle down. He is officially ready to leave the outdoors behind for the great indoors! Sammie is FIV + but that doesn't stop him from living a normal life. Per his care taker, he has never once hissed or growled at his caretaker, and his favorite thing in the world is flopping happily on the ground for chin rubs and brushings. Sammie is a sensitive guy. Fast movements and sudden noises startle him, so he is looking for a peaceful, low-key indoor home without dogs or small children. He would love to be the only cat, or he could live with another calm, gentle cat who would give him the space needed to allow him to really blossom. Sammie has spent years waiting for a safe place to land. He would do best in a quiet home with someone willing to let him move at his own pace. The reward will be well worth it! Sammie's confidence is really starting to come through! In the right home he's gonna shine! If you're patient and looking for a loyal kitty, come meet Sammie today!
Looking for two cats instead of one? This cat is part of a bonded pair and must be adopted with their buddy. Sammie is bonded to Shadow! Bonded cats stay together because separating them could cause stress. We make adopting a bonded pair easy by waiving the second adoption fee.
