Dora is a really sweet cat once she's comfortable with you. She will purr away and craves attention.
Dora was surrendered by her family so we stepped in and gave her the time she needed to feel safe again.
During her last checkup, it wad discovered that she has a heart issue so she is on daily meds, which she doesn't love. However, she does take it. Her test showed marginal left ventricular (LV) thickening in a cat means the main pumping wall of the heart is slightly thicker than normal, which can be an early sign of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM) or a temporary change.
She will need regular echocardiograms and to be monitored closely. We have not seen any symptoms of any kind and she is a happy girl.
