Max - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lafayette, Louisiana

Some people like to say that orange cats only have one braincell... Well, Max is not here to challenge that typecast.

He certainly isn't orange, but he isn't very bright, either! Max is incredibly sweet and goofy and wherever people are, that's where he wants to be. However he's also very distractible and curious and honestly- not all that smart. But that's okay! What he lacks in braincells, he makes up with heart, and this incredibly social boy isn't shy about wearing his heart on his sleeve.

If you want a cuddle bug who's always happy to greet you when you come home, that's Max. He's never known a stranger in his life and has no reservations about being the first to introduce himself. He might prance around to explore, but trust us when we say he'll always make his way back to his person after a few minutes of indulgence. He's a real purr machine, from the moment he wakes up to the moment he falls asleep in your arms!

Max has briefly met a few dogs and other cats in the house while supervised. He seemed a little spooked but overall very curious, so we believe he could be in a home with dogs or other cats if they're calmer and are properly introduced. He's also a fairly gentle boy who doesn't play very roughly, so we believe he would be okay in a home with children.
