Meet Pumpernickel:

Pumpernickel is a 2 year old tabby who has been through so much since coming into our care!

So, on first introduction she is a shy girl (sometimes even a hiss still pops out when she is unsure) BUT she blossoms with affection and then happily accepts chin scratches and pets! She affectionately rolls and stretches with patience and kindness.

Once she feels safe, she enjoys quiet affection. Loud noises definitely trigger her to get spooked. So a quiet home would be best for her!
She's the type of cat who forms strong bonds and becomes a loyal companion. Pumpernickel would do wonderfully in a calm, understanding home where she can feel secure and loved.

Her foster parent thinks she would do amazing in a home with another cat as she shows such positive interest in meeting their kitty. She also loves feathered fishing rod toys!


Walk-ins are prioritized.

We are open Tuesday - Saturday 12 pm -4 pm (except for Stat Holidays).
