We love black cats - yes, they tend to take longer to get adopted - but they also tend to be agreeable, loyal, and easy to integrate. Shylan is no exception. Though Shy at first, thus his name, this boy loves with all his heart. He is very mellow, loves being brushed, loves his food, and loves the people he knows well and trusts.

We don't know his past but guess he had a home at some point. He was found with his leg stuck in a fence and allowed a 6 year old to free him. When he came to us we had his wound treated and he was neutered and completely vetted. He was always gentle and friendly but did not approach us until he felt more confident. He will need a family that understands he may take some time to adjust, but the time it takes will be well worth his love and trust for a lifetime.

He has made friends with some of the other cats, but especially Hissy, so if you are very patient and looking for a pair that will need time to decompress and so in need please keep her in mind!
