Meet Dan Humphrey!
Status: Literary Icon, Aspiring Parkour Athlete, and Professional Window Watcher
Known Associates: Chuck Bass (Littermate, best friend, and occasional stunt coordinator)
The Bio:
Don't let the name fool you-this Dan Humphrey isn't just an observer from the sidelines; he's trying to climb straight to the top of the Upper East Side (or at least the top of your highest cat tree). Dan is an adventurous, sweet, and wonderfully goofy orange-and-white tabby who is ready to find his forever home.
Whether he's exploring uncharted territory (like the mysterious cabinet you just opened) or keeping watch over the neighborhood from his favorite window, Dan lives life with curiosity turned up to 100%.
The Quirks:
The Courage Conundrum: Dan is fascinated by toys! However, his standard operating procedure is to be absolutely terrified of a new toy for the first thirty seconds. Once he realizes it won't eat him, it is game on.
Parkour (But Make It Bad): Dan is currently at the age where he is testing out his jumping skills. The keyword here is testing. He hasn't quite mastered physics yet, leading to spectacular misses, accidental backflips, and weird parkour moves that will give you your daily dose of laughter.
The "Love Nibble" Enthusiast: Dan is the very first kitten to run up to you for pets, purrs, and cuddles. He is incredibly affectionate! He just happens to express that overwhelming love with his teeth. His littermates and foster parent have been teaching him that hands are friends, not chew toys, but it's still a work in progress. He just really likes nibbling.
The Perfect Match
Dan is a social butterfly who needs a specific setup to thrive:
A Feline Friend: Dan must go to a home with another active cat or kitten to help keep him entertained and teach him boundaries. He would absolutely love to be adopted with his brother, Chuck Bass-yes, despite their names, they are actually best friends!
A Patient Adopter: Because Dan is still learning that "love" doesn't equal "chomp," he needs a patient human who will continue his training with consistent redirection (and maybe keep some kicker toys handy for when the nibble urge strikes).
XOXO,
Dan Humphrey (R to go home with you today and climb into your heart, one failed jump at a time).
Did you know kittens do better together? It's true! When kittens are raised together, they play, cuddle and learn together. They look out for each other, and keep each other company while you are away. This makes taking care of them much easier for you, and results in happier, better adjusted cats with fewer behavior concerns overall. Plus, there's twice as much love and fun waiting for you when you come home! If you have no other cats in your home, or even if you do, please consider taking home more than one kitten. You'll be glad you did! ...
