Mahalia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Kalamazoo, Michigan

Mahalia (Orange Tabby) came to us as a stray back in 2020. She had chronic sinus issues and wasn't super social. She spent time recovering from her sinus issues and had all her teeth removed. After that, it was obvious she was feeling much better and she moved to a different foster who was determined to socialize her. Mahalia discovered that human attention is actually pretty awesome. She loves to cuddle, enjoys sitting on laps and has no concept of personal space when she feels comfortable. She has a bit of a sassy streak and loves to bite and give her signature crispy meows. She is very playful and enjoys the company of other cats. Mahalia also knows how to give high fives, and will gladly do so. She still has occasional sinus flareups and sometimes gets a little snotty. She would do best in a quieter home with someone who can move at her pace.
