DESCRIPTION
"Jude" was named so because she was found and rescued from under the Danny Thomas overpass in the middle of the St. Jude Children's Hospital complex. An observant person posted in a Facebook group one morning asking for help, and we went out to see if we could get her after work. She was hiding under a piece of broken concrete and wouldn't come out. We could hear her meows, but couldn't coax her out. We stayed until well after dark but couldn't get her. We came back first thing in the morning and tried again for a couple of hours. We had to leave and came back again that night. Finally, late into the night, her tiny body tripped our live trap and we were able to bring her home off of the streets! She weighed just 1.2 lbs a few days later when she got tested and her first shots. Her roomie of the last two weeks, Rusty, has found his own forever home, and Jude is currently with a foster family awaiting her forever home!
