Oh, how far she has come!

This beautiful 7-year-old girl, Desierto, came to us after leaving an unsafe and abusive home. She was literally abandoned in the middle of a contentious divorce and found alone in Landers.

Desi went into one of our foster homes, but the other cats weren't exactly welcoming committee material. She was bullied and spent most of her time hiding under a bed.

Luckily for all of us, Desi is back in the Cat Lounge—and WOW, what a difference! She is SO happy. In fact, shes usually the very first cat to greet you when you walk in.
