Chip - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Johnston, Rhode Island

Say hello to CHIP! CHIP is a dapper, handsome fellow with a mostly white coat. Accents of chocolate brown and black tabby stripes adorn on the top of his head, sides of his face, ears, back and tail. CHIP has beautiful light green eyes and an adorable pink nose. Our vet staff estimates CHIP to be approximately between one to two years old.

CHIP had been routinely wandering a local neighborhood when a concerned resident took notice and wanted to get him to safety. CHIP was humanely trapped and brought to our cat center. Upon arrival, he had some minor scratches, scabs and abrasions which have all since healed up and resolved nicely. CHIP was slightly hesitant of all the volunteers the first week or so. However, with time, CHIP has blossomed and let his guard down. Our socialization/enrichment volunteers worked with CHIP on a weekly basis and we have seen so much progress from when he first came to our facility. CHIP is a big softie at heart. CHIP can be pet and he enjoys receiving his crunchy yummy cat treats. He adores his soft, plush bed too. CHIP will come up to you and "bunt" his head against your leg or hand to seek attention and affection. CHIP melts when you give him gentle scritches to his head and behind his ears. CHIP is ready to leave his former street life in the past and is looking forward to finding his very own Forever Home with the purr-fect person or family that will give this guy the life filled with love he deserves.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.
