Keira - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Jersey City, New Jersey

Keira is a young queen waiting for a kingdom where she can preside over the comings & goings of her loyal subjects.
She is beautifully elegant with a sleek black coat with unique white markings, including a heart-shaped white pattern on her mouth.
She has a petite frame and is a quiet lady (unless she is riding in a car!).
She prefers her people to approach her with deference, as she likes to get to know you at her own speed. Once she sees your loyalty, she rewards you with purrs and head-butting.
She loves a good scratching post, and a nice perch to take long naps in.

Keira was spotted outdoors in early Spring and thought to be feral, as she was wary when anyone approached her. Once indoors she was able to relax, finally get the nutrition and care she deserves, and she let us know she is ready to be worshipped as an indoor pet.

She is about 1.5 years old, spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.
Since she doesn't seem to like sudden movement and chaos, we think she will do best in a home without young children.
