Domestic Short Hair Cats Available for Adoption in Jamestown, California

Blue has won the prize of being the oldest kitty in our shelter looking for a home. He was taken in to Tuolumne County Animal Control as a stray and although he had a microchip and they tried to contact his person, he was never claimed. We took in Blue after no one came for him to give him a chance at adoption. He's been quietly waiting for his person or a loving home to open up for him in the meantime. Blue recently had his teeth cleaned and has a good appetite, but prefers to take his golden years slow and quiet. He loves his naps, snacks, and soft places to relax while he watches the day pass by. We know taking home a senior animal takes a special person, but we're hoping someone will let him spend his last year or so in a home rather than a shelter- he so deserves it! Blue will give gentle head butts for attention and will gladly accept chin scratches throughout the day. If you have some space in your heart and home, please consider Blue! His adoption fee is covered. 3

Blue is approximately 16 years old and weighs 6 pounds.

All cats/kittens will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated according to age, dewormed, and current on flea/tick prevention before adoption unless otherwise noted for age or health reasons. Please note: our kitties have been indoors-only and not accustomed to life outside and the dangers involved (cats are easy targets for predators).
